Low water-angle view of surfer who was towed into this slabbing wave at Teahupoo, Tahiti, on 3-17-10. This must be among the most top-heavy waves ever surfed, about 40 feet high with massive lip 10 feet thick, throwing 60 feet forward, whitewater exploding 50% higher than the face. Bigger than Laird's "millenium wave". The surfer is Sam Hawk and anyone know how tall he is?
